It has to be a record!!!
Three new agricultural worker dwellings approved in two weeks.

The first was approved by Cheshire East Planning Committee despite being recommended for refusal by planning officers. This was for a permanent dwelling on an existing turkey and sheep farm but at a new site.

The second was allowed by the Planning Inspectorate following an appeal against Warrington Borough Council's refusal. This was for a temporary dwelling on an expanding rare breed poultry enterprise.

The third was approved by planning officers in Cheshire East for a third dwelling on an existing (large) dairy farm.

Planning News.

Permitted development update: the Government have made provisions for larger extensions a permanent right for homeowners. Under the previous provisions, single storey extensions more than 4m in depth had to be completed by the end of May 2019. The revisions allow extensions up to 8m from the rear of an original detached house but are subject to the same exceptions, limitations and consultation procedures.

The news will come as a relief for homeowners with a partially built larger home extension and also those wishing to seek future extensions.

Call us on 01565 723795 if you have any queries on potential home extensions.
